Chamber golf classic returns to Houston

April 7, 2018 by

The 29th annual Golf Classic and Silent Auction is taking place next month in Houston. The event is presented by, and is a fundraiser for, the Houston Metro Chamber of Commerce.

The tournament will have a shotgun start with teams of four. Fees will include golf, a boxed lunch, and a dinner. The dinner will feature awards, the silent auction and the appearance of special guests; awards will likely be given out for contests such as closest to the pin and hole-in-one. Guests will be country singer Roger Kreagar, Miss Houston Raquel Fatiuk, and Brandon LaFell from the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals. Fees are $175 for an individual player and $400 for a foursome; they also include two drink tickets.

Sponsorships are available for purchase from $250 up to $5,000. Sponsors will be recognized on tee signs on the golf course and banners and signage at the dinner. They will also be mentioned in all print advertising.

It is likely that the signs and banners that the Houston Metro Chamber of Commerce will need will be provided by a local printing services company.

The Golf Classic and Silent Auction will be held at the Hermann Park Golf Course on May 7 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm. To find out more about this event, contact Peggy Wilson of the Houston West Chamber of Commerce at 713-836-8405.
