A feline-themed event is on the way for Henderson, and those who are interested may wish to stop by and see what it is all about.

The March Madness Cat Show, which will be held in the Henderson Multigenerational Center, will include representatives of a huge assortment of cat breeds that will be up for judging. It is open to all ages, and other activities have been planned for the day as well.

Both pedigreed cats and everyday household pets will be participating in the competition, and a team of international judges will assess their merits. Breeders will be on site to show off their furry friends, and they can also answer questions from the public. A vendor area will be set up where those who come out can browse through a variety of pet items for sale, and there will be an opportunity for the attendees to learn more about cat care as well.

The admission prices for the show have been set at $6 for those over 18, $4 for anyone between 5 and 17 and kids under 5 will be admitted at no charge. A printer that crafts corporate gifts can be called upon to create awards and other items for this type of function.

The March Madness Cat Show has been scheduled for March 9 to 11. Anyone who is interested in learning more about this event has been invited to visit its listing on the City of Henderson website.
