McDonald’s to offer new delivery service in Greenwich

Greenwich is now one of the 12 communities in Fairfield county that will be participating in the new delivery program of McDonald’s.

Customers of over 20 locations of McDonald’s will be able to get food delivered to their home or business. The new service, called McDelivery, is the result of a partnership with UberEATS. Customers will be able to place their orders using the UberEATS mobile app.

A local McDonald’s Owner/Operator, Christian Trefz, said in a prepared statement that it is very exciting to be able to offer this modernized, enhanced experience to customers in the state, working along with UberEATS. McDelivery has become a new way to experience McDonald’s foods and a step in helping the company to become a progressive and modern breakfast and burger company.

General Manager for UberEATS in Connecticut, Casey Verkamp, added that UberEATS enables people to get the food they want, where they want it, and quickly. Being able to access the UberEATS mobile app will facilitate the ability to find McDonald’s in the app every day so the company is excited about being able to offer what people have been looking for every day.

Chains such as these can use the assistance of a local printing company to promote new services such as this in their stores with posters, flyers, and other printed materials.
