The Wings of Freedom Tour, an event run by the Collings Foundation that allows the public to learn about the aircraft used during the Second World War, will be coming to Greenville, South Carolina later this month.

During the event, visitors will also be able to ride planes that were in operation during World War II. Prices range from $400 to $3,200, and guests will be able to experience aircraft such as the B-17, B-24, and the TF-51D for anywhere from 30-minutes to an hour, depending on the type of aircraft desired. These plane rides will generally happen early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

The Wings of Freedom Tour will be starting on October 27th at 2:00 pm and will end on October 29 at 4:00 p.m. The event will be located at the Greenville Downtown Airport and it will cost $15 for adults to attend or $5 for children who are up to the age of 12. Registration is not required, but those who are interested in riding a plan must make reservations prior to attending the event. These can be made by calling the organizers at 800-568-8924.
