Greenville Zoo hosting summer camps

The Greenville Zoo in Greenville, South Carolina, recently posted an announcement to its Facebook page that reminded locals to sign their children up for some of the summer camp events that will be taking place during the months ahead.

The summer camps, which are offered to children of 3 years of age up to 14 years, offer a variety of different themes and dates for parents to choose from. For example, one such event that will be taking place during the summer is known as Kindercamp, an event that gives three-year-old children the opportunity to enjoy activities such as making their own animal noses and tails, and meeting animals with unusually large tails and snouts of their own. Another camp, known as Junior Zookeeper I, gives those aged 12 to 14 the opportunity to learn more about the job of a zookeeper.

The prices of summer camps range anywhere from as low as $35 to as high as $200. Space is limited for some of these camps, so it is recommended that interested parents register their children as soon as possible.

To learn more about the type of summer camps offered or to register a child for one, visit the Greenville Zoo website. To see the Facebook reminder flyer, or for those who wish to partake in their own flyer printing, visit the Greenville Zoo Facebook page.
