Community boost program coming to Greenville

February 22, 2018 by

Facebook’s boost program, a community program designed to help local businesses improve their social media presence, has recently announced that it will be coming to Greenville, South Carolina later this year.

As it is described on the Facebook page, Boost Your Business events help community businesses by providing owners with up-to-date tools, discussing current social media insights and methods, and going over successful practices that people can use to grow their Facebook and Instagram.

The program is led by Facebook experts, local organization leaders, and successful local business. It is also the perfect place to connect with other business owners and bring résumés and business cards for potential partnerships and job opportunities.

The program is set to visit Greenville from May 29 to June 1 this year. Facebook expressed its excitement by saying:

“We’re inspired by what small businesses have been able to do using Facebook, but we want to do more — particularly for those who are transitioning to careers that require more digital skills. Facebook Community Boost will visit 30 U.S. cities in 2018, including St. Louis, Albuquerque, Des Moines, Greenville, and Houston, and will partner with local organizations to provide training.”
