Legendary R&B artists on the way to Glenside

Two super groups in the genre of rhythm and blues are on their way to the Keswick Theatre in Glenside.

Soon, fans will be able to enjoy the hits of the Spinners, and Little Anthony & the Imperials.

The Spinners have sold more than 60 million records during their career, and have performed before presidents, and on numerous television shows. They have been nominated for a Grammy six times, and have set people dancing to songs like ‘The Rubberband Man’, and ‘Working My Way Back to You’.

The Spinners first got together in Detroit in 1954, and during the years 1961 to 1995 had 20 songs make it into the Top 40 on either the US or UK charts. Although only one original group member still performs with the ensemble, they have never stopped touring.

Little Anthony and the Imperials have written such well-known hits as ‘Tears on My Pillow’ and ‘Goin’ Out of My Head’. Most of the original group, which formed in New York City, is still together.

These two still-popular groups will appear at the Keswick on October 7, at 8.00 pm. Tickets are on sale now via the theater’s website, or at the box office.

People often enjoy collecting theater memorabilia, and productions can benefit if management works with a poster printing company to create a piece for the performance.
