Diverse performer coming to Glenside

December 7, 2017 by

Eddie Bruce is on his way to Glenside, where he will appear at Dino’s Backstage, the popular supper club.

Bruce is an acclaimed bandleader, cabaret artist and singer who has performed numerous tributes. Among those he has honored are Frank Sinatra, The Best of Broadway, Tony Bennett, and Anthony Newley. He has played to sold-out houses in venues throughout the area including, Atlantic City, New York City, SOUTH Jazz Parlor, Chris’ Jazz Café, the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, and the Milton Theater in Milton, Delaware. He has also been featured in appearances with the Hershey Symphony, the Ocean City Pops, and The Philly Pops.

Dino’s Backstage and The Celebrity Room have been designed to recreate the sophisticated experience of the supper clubs that were popular in the 1940s and 1950s. Linen tablecloths and napkins, candles, sparkling glassware, and black and white photos of celebrities on the walls create the feeling of a bygone era.

In his appearance at Dino’s, Bruce will be performing solo, accompanied by the Tom Adams Trio. The show is taking place this Sunday, December 10. Patrons who plan to have dinner will be seated at 6:00 pm, with the curtain going up at 7.30 pm.

Occasions like this are the perfect place to take photos that a print company can transform into holiday cards or other attractive items.
