Glen Burnie opens its heart to the American Heart Association

February 5, 2018 by

Glen Burnie physicians, corporate, community, and healthcare leaders are invited to attend the Baltimore Heart Ball coming in a few days. Over 500 guests are expected to attend. This will be a black-tie affair to raise funds for the local American Heart Association.

The evening will begin with dinner followed by inspirational speeches given by those who have personally been affected by the Heart Association in the Greater Maryland community over the last 12 months. Live entertainment including solo performances by well-known vocal artists and bands will be performing throughout the evening.

Both live and silent auctions will have items donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals.

There will be dancing afterward, and photos will be taken during the night for next year’s flyer printing, poster printing, and other media exposure.

Tickets start at $500. The venue is offering discounted rates for those guests who wish to reserve rooms for the night.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the local chapter of the American Heart Association, that’s mission is to build “healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.” Its national organization is the largest and oldest voluntary organization to do so.

The Baltimore Heart Ball will be at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel, 700 Aliceanna Street, Baltimore this Saturday, February 10, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
