Georgetown counting down to July 4th fun

May 10, 2018 by

This summer, Georgetown will be marking the nation’s birthday with a big celebration in San Gabriel Park, and the whole community is welcome to join in the excitement.

The festivities will begin late in the morning and run throughout the day and evening. It will have lots to offer kids and adults alike, and it is free of charge.

The day will kick off with activities for the younger folks, and there will also be vendor and craft booths open. Food will be available for purchase, and a petting zoo will also be set up. A parade is also on the agenda, and everyone is invited to take part in the procession in 4th of July attire. Kids can decorate their bikes to ride in the parade, and after this, the crowd can gather around the gazebo in the park to enjoy the entertainment that will showcase some local talent.

The festivities will be capped off by a fireworks show that will light up the evening sky. The organizers expect that thousands will be on hand for the occasion, and marketing materials produced by a flyer printing company can help to make sure everyone in the area knows when and where an event like this will be taking place.

These 4th of July festivities have been organized through the support of Georgetown Sertoma. The Hello Georgetown website is the place to go for more information about the event.
