Upcoming event will showcase area businesses

The 17th annual Business Showcase is taking place next month, and is a presentation of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce East Chapter and the Greater Charlotte Hospitality and Tourism Alliance.

This is a business-to-business event that usually attracts about 1,000 attendees. This year, there are expected to be over 150 exhibitors on hand to showcase their latest products and their services. It also gives business peers the chance to check out the competition in a friendly atmosphere. Booths are still available for $150; they are 10 x 10-feet and include signage.

The afternoon will start off with a reception and the awarding of door prizes, representing a networking opportunity for business leaders from all over Greater Charlotte, including those from Gastonia. No doubt many of those planning to attend will be placing a new business card printing order in advance. There will be plenty of chances during the four-hour event to exchange cards and discuss business.

Sponsorships are available from $900 to $3,000, and sponsors will be recognized on the event invitation and on a banner at the event.

The Business Showcase will be held at the Park Expo and Conference Center in Charlotte on March 30 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Admission is free of charge. To learn more, get in touch with the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce at 704-378-1300.
