Gardena technologists workshop preps for test

February 17, 2017 by

Aspiring radiologic technologists in the Gardena area who are preparing for their American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) test are getting a leg up by attending the Tuffest Stuff CT Registry Review Seminar.

The two-day event provides a comprehensive look at one of the most difficult sections of the test – CT Scans.

The seminar is presented by Mike Enriquez, the president of RMP and an experienced teacher in the field of CT scanning. Enriquez will cover a range of difficult topics relating to CTs, including windowing, reconstruction, ‘PITCH’, and MTF. Videos, PDFs, interactive models, and more will be used to help bring the content to life.

In addition to the lessons, booklet printing will be used to present participants with a 230-question sample test. After the test, students will evaluate the answers with a rubric that will help them evaluate their strengths and weaknesses when taking the ARRT test; this can prove invaluable to helping them prepare for the real test.

The Tuffest Stuff CT Registry Review Seminar will be held on February 25 and 26 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm both days at the Best Western Plus Inn and Suites, located at 14400 S. Western Ave. Cost for both days is $299 and includes a breakfast buffet. Anyone looking for more info should visit the website.
