It’s a Pittie Rescue is hosting two events this month in the Frankfort area in order to raise awareness of Pitbull dogs and the need to find homes for them.

The first event is Puppy Palooza, which will be held in Orland Park. Visitors will have an opportunity to meets some of the Pitbulls that are currently up for adoption. While they will not be able to adopt them at this event, the public will have the chance to submit applications to It’s a Pittie Rescue.

Later on in the month will be the 5th annual Family and Pet Spring Fling in Frankfort. Food will be available for purchase and several pet-related vendors will be on hand to sell their products and services. There will be demonstrations, raffles, and information booths hosted by rescue organizations. Visitors are encouraged to bring their pets with them. As with the previous event, there will be no onsite adoptions but there will be a chance to meet some of the dogs.

Organizers may work with Frankfort flyer printing companies to help advertise these events.

Puppy Palooza will be held at Kriser’s Natural Pet Store in Orland Park on April 22 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Family and Pet Spring Fling will take place at Frankfort Township Animal Control on April 29 from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
