Experienced and novice businesswomen alike from around Fort Worth are invited to an upcoming gathering to learn, share and network with other women striving to succeed in the local business community.

PeopleSpring is designed to help both individuals and businesses in the area. The luncheon brings a variety of female minds together to mingle and learn more about how to overcome challenges. The one-day event is designed to inspire, build confidence and encourage relationships between working women in the Fort Worth area. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet leaders from around their community.

The event is organized by PeopleFund, a nonprofit organization designed to educate and encourage the underserved in communities. It hopes to give its clients more opportunities and help them to achieve success. The group aids people by teaching them to plan and build their businesses, find funding, and improve their credit.

The featured speaker at the event will be Barbara Oldums. The owner of Industrial Solutions Company in Arlington, Oldums has a lengthy professional résumé and has won many awards during her career. She is also the co-author of ‘The Power Within: Don’t Give Away Your Power’.

With attendees sure to have plenty of business cards to pass out, the event is scheduled for April 20 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm and will take place at IdeaWorks located at 600 East Rosedale Street in Fort Worth. Visit the PeopleFund website to register for the free event.
