Sponsors and vendors still wanted for fall charity carnival

The eighth annual Especially Needed Fall Carnival encourages any business, individual, or organization in the Fort Worth area to join in on the fun.

Especially Needed is a nonprofit organization established to support people with special needs. Its goal is to help create a loving community and encourage acceptance and understanding of such people. The fall carnival is an accessible event that makes it possible for families with special needs members to get out, have fun, and meet their neighbors.

There are a number of activities already planned including games, prizes, and a clown, as well as trick or treating. Any group or individual who would like to contribute their talents or help sponsor the event is asked to reserve a booth through the Eventbrite website, or to call for more information at (214) 499-3439.

Vendors can set up a booth, offer promotional items or help to get the word out to the community about the event with posters and flyers. Just under 400 families attended the carnival last year to take part in the fun and take advantage of the informative resource fair that takes place simultaneously.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 28 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The event will take place at the Life Time Fitness center at 971 State Highway 121 in Allen.
