Ghost hunting season in Fort Worth starts early

Locals can get a jump start on finding out where all the spirits are lurking this Halloween season, with a local tour company expanding its services to include ghost tours through the months of September and October.

The Ghost Bus Tours from Authentic Fort Worth Tours includes the Parker Cabin, the location where President Kennedy gave his final public speech, and other locations reportedly haunted by numerous ghosts. The event will include factual information about the history of the city as well as the many legends of the terrors that abound after dark.

At Halloween, businesses that invest in a few decorations, spooky posters for advertising, and ghostly-themed promotional products can encourage new customers to their location and provide an enjoyable outlet for their current clients.

The Ghost Bus Tours currently depart twice a night on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until Halloween, having got underway on September 14. The admission cost is $25 for the tour alone and $31 for a tour and cocktail. Three signature cocktails have been crafted for the event and all have an appropriately eerie theme.

Each tour lasts approximately an hour and a half. The tours depart from Acre Distillery at 1309 Calhoun Street in Fort Worth at 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. To find out more about the event, contact the tour company.
