May 17, 2017 by

Homeowners and garden enthusiasts in the Fort Worth area are getting ready for the 37th Annual Home and Garden Show. The three-day event features vendors, demonstrations, and workshops all intended to help improve property.

Hundreds of different vendors will be on hand from a variety of industries, including flooring, garden centers, furniture and interior design, kitchen remodeling and design, and outdoor living. Visitors will be able to look at product demonstrations, collect informational brochures, pick up promotional products and special coupons, and schedule consultations.

Additionally, the show will host a broad collection interactive workshops, seminars, and discussions on a wide number of topics. Seminars include a talk on the craft of flower pounding, an overview of plants best suited to the North Texas soil, and techniques on building a shade garden. Space for all workshops and seminars is extremely limited and no reservations are available, so guests are encouraged to arrive early in order to secure a place for their desired event.

The Fort Worth Home and Garden Show will take place this weekend, from May 19 to 21, at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, located at 3401 West Lancaster Ave. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and military. Children under 14 get in free. To find out more about this event, visit the website.
