Fort Worth residents invited to browse handcrafted holiday gifts

The fall and winter Urban Traders Market is now open on select dates, and the market vendors are showcasing the best of what they have to offer from now until just before Christmas.

The Urban Traders Market is a venue designed to connect shoppers with local artists and crafters. Handmade items of all types are offered at the market. The founders were inspired by the popular Portland Saturday Market and wanted something that displayed the beauty and diversity of Southwestern art.

Vendors are welcome to gather their products, brochures, and banners and join the Saturday events that began last month and will run through December 16.

Booth fees range from $89 to $109 per day. A $20 per booth discount is given if purchased 30 days prior to the market day. All vendor booths are rotated each show to ensure visibility to customers. Artists, performers, and food vendors are all welcome if they operate within the guidelines of the market, which can be found on the website.

The Urban Traders Market is found at 108 South Freeway in Fort Worth in the Cedar Room of the OB Macaroni Building. The fall and winter market hours are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on October 14 and 28, November 4, and December 2 and 16. There is no admission fee, the market is dog-friendly, and all ages are invited to attend.
