Fort Worth public pool becomes canine-only for one day

Pet parents and their furry friends are all welcome to come take a dip at the Marine Pool Park this weekend.

The Spay Neuter Network Doggie Paddle is offering its first fun event that allows pet owners to share a unique adventure with their pets while helping out a cause. The organizers plan to make this an annual event with all proceeds going to fund local spay/neuter programs. Dogs of all sizes are welcome to enjoy the cool waters of this public pool, which has a maximum water depth of 3.5 feet.

Since pet events act as fundraising activities, many printing companies are happy to work with related organizations to help them design promotional products and provide flyer printing to get the word out.

There are two event times to enjoy this Saturday, Spetember 9. The first pool party runs from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and the second is from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. All dogs must be spayed or neutered and be current on their rabies vaccination, with proof of both required for entrance. Pets must also be accompanied by a human of at least 12 years of age or older, and entry is restricted to two dogs per human.

Registration is available on the Spay Neuter Network website and is required to attend the Doggie Paddle. The cost is $25 per couple (one dog and one human) and includes a free T-shirt. For faster entry at the event, print and bring along the Doggie Paddle Event Waiver.
