Fort Worth prepares for food festival

June 3, 2018 by

The upcoming Taste of Fort Worth promises to be a hands-on experience for all guests.

The event will feature family activities, food, live music and much more. Visitors can meet some of the top chefs in the city, try out food from many local restaurants and food trucks and watch, or join the city’s largest BBQ competition. There is a wide array of cuisine available at the event including American, Italian, and Mexican fare.

Free samples and family activities including a Cornhole Competition and a life-size Jenga game will keep everyone busy throughout the event. Vendors have time to hit the print shops and get their booths ready because space is still available. Vendor fees are $75-$150, depending on booth size.

Contestants in the BBQ contest will have a large vendor space for their use. There is a $100 fee to enter the competition and all entrants must register before 10:00 am on June 15.

The admission fee is $10 for the day. The Taste of Fort Worth festival is on Saturday, June 16 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and will be held outside at the Wilkerson Greines Activity Center Grounds located at 5201 Ca Roberson Boulevard in Fort Worth.
