Fort Worth goes to the circus

August 9, 2016 by

People in the Fort Worth area are marking their calendars and reserving tickets for a chance to sit under the big top.

Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Presents the Greatest Show on Earth is an event coming up this month, aimed to please children and parents alike.

This year’s show will see the acrobatic talents of the Daring Danguir Troupe, Eastern performers the Mongolian Marvels, the animal centered act Robert Stipka and the Desert Goddess, and the parkour inspired work of the Incredible Concrete Jungle Display.

As part of the marketing services of the show, children of all ages are invited to an all-access pre-show where they can learn a few circus skills and meet the stars for an autograph session. Additionally, an Animal Open House will take place 90 minutes before the show, allowing families the chance to get up close with the various animal performers that have always been a cornerstone of the circus’ performances.

The Greatest Show on Earth will be in Fort Worth from August 18 to 21, with a variety of performance times at the Fort Worth Convention Center, located at 1201 Houston St. Admission costs between $5 and $90 depending on the seat. Anyone interested in visiting the event should visit the website for a full list of ticket prices and more information.
