Summer music festival features car show

June 5, 2016 by

The Rockin’ the Ridge Festival is taking place in Dry Ridge next month.

It is a music festival that is

set to feature acts such as Joe Nichols, Ashley Renae, Taylor Henry and Dear December. But it is so much more than a music festival, there will be activities taking place that should appeal to everyone in the family.

One popular event will be the car show along the street from Broadway to US25. Registration is open to the public and fees are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the event. The cars will be judged and will compete for several awards.

There will also be arts and craft and food vendors, food and wine tasting and a fireworks display. A children’s area will have lots of inflatable rides and activities.

VIP tickets are available for purchase and include a meet and greet with the musicians, special seating and private food concessions.

This event will likely attract people from all over the area, including many from Florence. To advertise, organizers will probably invest in flyers or posters to be distributed.

The Rockin’ the Ridge Festival will be held at Piddle Park on July 2 from 12:00 to 11:00 PM. General admission is $15 and VIP costs $50. To learn more about this event, contact Adam Myers at 859-824-3335.
