Local chamber hosts upcoming social events

The Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce has two upcoming social events next month that will definitely bring out the crowds.

The first event will be the annual Oyster Roast. It features all-you-can-eat oysters and low country boil. There will also be door prizes and raffles. In past years, prizes have included a laptop computer and liquor. The event venue for this year has not been decided on yet.

The next week, the Bikes and BBQ festival is taking place. The main draw here will be hundreds of custom modified motorcycles owned by Fayetteville residents. There will be musical entertainment, craft beer sampling, and, of course, barbecued food for purchase. The kids’ area will have several games and activities to enjoy.

Vendors will be on hand to sell bike-related and general merchandise. This will likely also include arts and crafts provided by local artisans.

Local poster printing firms are often asked to provide printed materials that can be easily distributed to advertise events like this in Fayetteville.

The Oyster Roast will be held on October 5 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

The Bikes and BBQ festival will take place on October 14 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. VIP tickets are $50 each, and there are discounts for Chamber members.
