Fayetteville to tip its hat to local law enforcement

April 8, 2018 by

A community event in support of local law enforcement is being organized, in part, through the assistance of the Fayetteville Police Foundation (FPF), and it is seeking the support of local businesses and the community as a whole to help ensure it is a success.

The Annual Police Ball, which has been planned for early this spring, will be held in the Highland Country Club. The FPF is one of the sponsors of the occasion, and the agenda for the evening includes the presentation of several awards.

The Officer of the Year, Lifesaving Awards, and Valor Award will all given out, and there will be other activities as well. The monies that are raised through the function will be utilized to fund the department’s special programs.

To help ensure that the function is a success and meets its fundraising goals, several sponsorship opportunities have been created. These range from the Lieutenant’s Circle level all the way up to the Chief’s Circle, and these each come with their own set of benefits, such as having he sponsor’s name on a table sign during the evening. Items like this can be provided by stationery printers.

This salute to local law enforcement will be held on May 11. Anyone who would like more information about purchasing tickets or a sponsorship package has been asked to contact the FPF through its website.
