Fairmont workshop to help build better business leaders

Fairmont business owners and managers who would like to add to their leadership skillset have been invited to participate in and afternoon workshop that will give them a chance to do just that.

Wes Pruett who is the owner of a consulting practice that helps to build collaborative and successful workplace environments will serve as the facilitator for this event. The Fairmont Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the occasion.

During the session, those who participate will discuss an assortment of topics that can aid them in their efforts to becoming a better leader. They will also be invited to take a brief assessment that can help them to develop a personal plan in this area. They will discover the role trust can play in creating positive employer-employee relationships and also what can motivate and demotivate staff.

Along with all of this, there will be an exploration of the importance of communication and accountability, and strategic thinking and planning will also be discussed. Everyone who takes part will walk away with a leadership self-assessment, a copy of the presentation and also a toolkit of best practices they can utilize in their own workplace. Print shops can provide any printed materials that are needed for this type of event.
