New brewery in Fairfield closer to opening

A new brewery known as Swine City Brewing, plans to open in Fairfield, on Industry Drive.

The company has moved closer to its opening date by applying for its necessary state liquor licenses. On August 10, Swine City applied for three separate licenses—one to operate a brewery, one to run a winery, and one to distribute wine in bottles. Earlier this year, it was reported that the brewery will offer both wine and cider, and a constantly changing list of brews on tap.

The business is co-owned by Fairfield resident Daniel Ebben, who says the brewery will have a spacious tasting room indoors, as well as a 2,600 square foot outdoor patio, all on a 1.6 acre site. Ebben says the business will be family-friendly, and offer private areas outdoors that can accommodate events of all sizes. There will be plentiful seating both indoors and outside, and a stage where live music events will take place.

Swine City plans to brew a variety of types of beers, and will add cider and wine to their output at a later date. They hope to open by the end of the summer.

New businesses need to draw in customers, and one way to do so is to offer specials. If the owners work with a flyer printing company, they can create handouts that include coupons and distribute them at the location during the opening, inviting people to try their products.
