North Pole festivities to breeze into California

November 12, 2016 by

Escondido families are invited to an event that will bring a little piece of the North Pole, including snow, to California.

The California Center for the Arts in Escondido will be hosting its annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Winter Wonderland. Kids will have a chance to play in real snow, meet actual reindeer, and make their own specially decorated cookies. It has even been rumored that Santa himself may be stopping by to meet the children.

There will also be plenty for adults to enjoy. Live entertainers with a holiday theme will be strolling through the celebration, and hot drinks and food will be available. Local vendors will have displays set up where people can browse through what they have to offer and maybe even finish their holiday shopping well ahead of time. A printing services company can be counted on to supply signs, banners, and more for an event such as this.

When dusk arrives, all the lights on the huge Christmas tree will be lit, and according to the organizers, there will be more surprises to come.

There is no charge to take part in the activities, which will be held at The California Center for the Arts, located at 340 N Escondido Boulevard. It will run from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and more information can be found on its website.
