An event has been planned for Escondido that will give mothers and their families a chance to take in some of the architecture found in the city’s historic district.

The Mother’s Day Home Tour will see five selected residences in Old Escondido open their doors to the public to browse through and explore. Guests can admire their design, construction, and decoration, and then head outdoors to enjoy some light refreshments in a peaceful garden setting while they relax and enjoy the company of family and friends old and new.

This will be the 20th year that that tour that has been held to celebrate local architecture, and to mark this anniversary, ticket prices have been dropped. They have been set at $20 for those who purchase their passes in advance and $25 for anyone who would prefer to buy theirs at the door on the day of the event. Stationery printers can both design and then produce printed materials, such as programs that contain information about the different homes, for use during a function such as this.

May 14 has been chosen as the date for the 2017 tour. It will begin at 11:00 am and run until 4:00 pm. According to its organizers, tickets for the function will soon be offered for sale to the public, and anyone who is interested in participating is advised to check the website often for additional details.
