Holiday tea to welcome guests near Eden Prairie

November 18, 2017 by

This holiday season, the Edina Historical Society will be hosting an Eden Prairie area event that promises to be both elegant and enjoyable.

Guests who come to the Afternoon Tea and Vintage Hat Show will be treated to an event that will offer them both sweet and savory treats while they socialize and get to know one another. While the attendees sip their tea, they will have an opportunity to take in a presentation that will include a discussion by Heather Edington, who is an expert in the area of vintage hats.

After the tea is over, the learning will keep right on going during a tour of the historic buildings at Minnehaha Grange Hall, where the attendees will be able to find out more about the buildings, including their architecture and history. The event has been brought to the community through the support of both the Edina Historical Society and they Edina Senior Center, and all are welcome to attend, though spaces are limited. Brochures that provide information about the historic site can be prepared for a function like this by a print company in the local area.

The ticket price for this occasion, which will include the food, tea, show and tour, start at $35 each. Anyone who would like to find out more can do so by visiting the organizer’s website.
