Volunteers and sponsors sought for Easton gala event

Easton’s Third Street Alliance is hosting its annual Bistro Fundraiser, and it has put out a call for both sponsors and volunteers who would like to lend their support to its efforts.

The gala evening, which will have a theme of springtime in Paris, will include fine food, beer, wine, an even spit draw and raffle, and an assortment of auctions. It will be taking place in Simon Mansion, and an assortment of sponsorship levels have been created so that local businesses can choose the one that is the best fit for their individual budget. These range from $250 to $5,000, and donations of auction items of gifts in kind will also be appreciated.

To help ensure that the event goes as smoothly as possible, a variety of volunteer positions are available for those who would like to lend a helping hand. Anyone who feels they have something to offer is invited to contact Wendy Hughes at whughes@thirdstreetalliance.org. She will be able to help get them started as volunteers and find a role that is well suited to them. Business forms and other material for this type of function can be supplied by an area printer.

The Bistro fundraiser has been scheduled for the evening of March 24. The Third Street Alliance’s website includes more details of the evening’s events.
