Just across the Ohio River from Southgate, An Asian Culture Fest is coming to the Cincinnati Museum Center this weekend.

For the 10th time, the event will showcase history, art, and customs of various Asian cultures. This is one of several events in the museum’s ‘Passport to the World’ series.

Throughout the weekend, there will be workshops, storytelling, dance, music, yoga, and art presentations. Activities such as origami, crafts, and games will be fun for children. The Asian Marketplace will be selling ‘Asian-themed’ goods.

While many of the event’s activities are free, some are only free for museum members. However, in order to gain access to all the activities, visitors may purchase an All Museums Pass. A pass costs $14.50 for adults, $13.50 for seniors, $10.50 for children, and $5.50 for toddlers. Infants under a year old are free.

The Cincinnati Museum Center has a multitude of areas to explore. It includes a history library, a research center, a theater, a natural history and science museum, and a children’s museum.

The event will take place on April 12 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and on April 13 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. The museum center is located at 1301 Western Ave in Cincinnati. Museums will often use printing services to make handouts and posters to promote this sort of event.
