Louisville woman honored by Stark Realtors as Realtor of the Year

Marty Galentine of Louisville was recognized last month as the 2012 Realtor of the year at the Stark County Association of Realtor’s (SCAR) 103rd annual celebration. Galentine was presented with an award that recognized her outstanding dedication, involverment and efforts within the real estate industry.

Marty Galentine has been a member of SCAR for more than 30 years and is a realtor at the Keller Williams Legacy Group. She has served in a number of association commitees within the Past President’s and Professional Services commitees, as well as currently serving on SCAR’s Constitution, Bylaws and Policy Committee as chairperson. She has additionally served as the 2007 secretary/treasurer and the 2009 president for SCAR.

In addition to her many other activities, Marty Galentine has been a chairperson for three state commitees and an Ohio Association of Realtors director. She served as the chapter president for Stark County for the Women’s Council of Realtors in 1995 and the 1998 president for the Ohio State chapter. In 1999, she served as a national governor. She was named the Council of Residential Specialists 2006 Member of the Year, as well as the Member of the Year for the Women’s Council of Realtors
