This Saturday, August 18, the ICF India Fest 2012 will take place at WorldFest on the Belvedere located at the corner of Fifth Street and Main Street, on Belvedere in Louisville, Kentucky. This event will run from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

This celebration is held annually and this year is celebrating the 66th India Independence Day. There will be live musical performances, delicious foods, dancing, and a flag-hoisting ceremony. Many of the performers at this festival are award-winning, including a performance by the renowned Bollywood Dance Louisville troop. This is a great family event that features traditional Indian music, dance, and foods, plus a variety of other activities. There is a beer garden available as well at this outdoor festival, where guests are reminded to dress appropriately and bring sunglasses and sunscreen, as well as hats for the children.
