Having achieved Iconic statue, Morbid Angel has smashed the boundaries where creativity and imagination are concerned. After each groundbreaking musical release, this group evolves and changes making its historic career metamorphic. Loud rockers in Louisville can get a sample of what the band is all about tonight, September 22.

Playing extreme music to a huge following of fans, Morbid Angel has been the inspiration for many other groups, while continuing to change and develop its own material. Founded in 1984 by Trey Azagthoth from Florida, the group has undergone many changes and releases. Today, demos are keenly sought after, especially ‘Scream of Blasphemies’ and ‘Bleed for the Devil’. With deep interests in the occult, magic, and other dark subjects, the groups seventh single ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ was an instant hit.

The band will be accompanied by Dark Funeral, a notorious Swedish ‘black metal’ group that emphasizes the dark essence of the European world. After the group’s first release in 1994, it was quickly established as the band to watch. Although the band lineup has changed over the years, it has toured more than 45 countries and continues to grow a huge fan base, so there will no doubt have been poster printing carried out in preparation for merchandise-seeking fans.

Tickets for this event start at $25 and must be purchased in advance. This performance takes place tonight at 8:00 pm at the Headliner’s Music Hall located at 1386 Lexington Road in Louisville, Kentucky.
