Ballet worth going nuts about heads to Lexington

December 20, 2013 by

The Bluegrass Youth Ballet’s ‘The Nutcracker’ will be performed in one act tonight and is a performance for the entire family to come out and enjoy, while supporting a local ballet group. The organizers have no doubt used poster printing or promotional postcard printing to spread the word about the ballet to people in this community and the surrounding counties.

The performance will no doubt be a memorable one as guests get the whole story in one act about the main character, Clara, and the magic that involves her and her wonderful Nutcracker battling out with ferocity.

The production features the students of the Bluegrass Youth Ballet and is suitable for all ages. Student that attend the group start as young as five years old and have the chance to perform in two or three main stage productions each year, as well as getting an opportunity to perform in small outreach community performances such as festivals and schools. This provides these students with confidence and stage experience.

The tickets cost between $14.50 and 17.50. The Bluegrass Youth Ballet’s ‘The Nutcracker’ will be performed this evening, December 20, starting at 7:00 pm at the University of Kentucky Singletary Center for the Arts in Lexington, so only a short drive from London, Kentucky.
