University of Kentucky Singletary Center for the Arts presents winter schedule

The Singletary Center for the Arts has unveiled its winter line up.

Located in Lexington, the Singletary Center for the Arts has been offering creative and talented performances by a variety of artists for over 25 years since its opening in 1979. It was named in honor of Otis A Singletary, the eight President of the University, in 1987 and has since become a highly recognized culture and activity center.

The Singletary Center hosts approximately 400 cultural events annually with over 3.5 million visitors since the opening.

The winter line-up kicks off with famous comedian Ron “Tater Salad” White on November 3. A talented and comedic storyteller, his classic routines depicts tales from his life as a child all the way through adventures in adulthood. His is best known for his part in the “Blue Collar Comedy” success and is recognized as one of the most popular comedians in the country.

An Evening with David Sedaris is scheduled for November 4. He is most recognized for his mastery of satire with fine honed skills utilizing cultural euphemisms and political awareness. He has written several books, plays and personal essays with many reaching best seller status.

Other scheduled performers and events include Hugh Laurie, Andrew Bird, Capital Steps and Chris Isaak along with many other celebrities.

Performances and events of this type are commonly promoted through the use of printing services such as catalog printing listing all of the scheduled performances and activities.
