Egg-citement on its way

The ‘Giant Easter Egg Hunt’ is once again on track and a great event for the entire family to enjoy.

This year, more than 14,000 Easter Eggs have been hidden on the grounds for children of all ages to hunt for and collect, before enjoying. Poster printing may have been used to share this information with residents of this community and the surrounding rural areas.

This is an annual event and the organizers are hoping to have many great volunteers come out to assist them with scattering the eggs. Families need to bring baskets for the children and make plans to enjoy hunting for the Easter Eggs the volunteers have scattered throughout the grounds. There will also be a ‘kid zone’ with lots of games and activities, as well as face painting, food vendors, prizes, entertainment, and many additional fun activities.

There is a meeting being held for volunteers who wish to assist with the scattering of the Easter Eggs, set up, clean up, and greeting of the people held on Tuesday, March 19th at 7:00 pm at the FLC auditorium, with all residents being invited to attend.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome. The Annual Giant Easter Egg Hunt will be happening on Saturday, March 23, starting at 11:00 am at the Delco Park located at 1700 Delco Park Drive in Kettering, Ohio, just a short drive from Florence, Kentucky. Volunteers are asked to arrive an hour earlier. To learn more, or to volunteer to assist at the event, please visit the Giant Easter Egg Hunt website or call 937-427-1912.
