Baseball night hopes to be pitch perfect

On Tuesday, July 31, a “Night at the Ball Park” will take place at the Florence Freedom Ball Park located at 7950 Freedom Way in Florence, Kentucky, just a short drive down the road from Erlanger. This event begins at 5:30 pm with the doors opening a short while earlier.

The Florence Freedom team and the City of Erlanger invite the public to join them for this evening baseball event. The game taking place will be between the Fire and EMS Departments and the Police Department. Starting at 5:45 pm sharp, this will be followed by the Florence Freedom, who will be playing against the Schaumburg Boomers from Illinois at 7:05 pm. During this second game, a school district representative will pitch the first ball of the evening.

Thanks to the generosity of the Florence Freedom, guests will receive a $2 discount on the price of their tickets, with $3 of each ticket being donated to the Erlanger-Elsmere Independent School District’s Youth Services and Family Resource Centers. Tickets may be purchased online in advance and there will be family fun, hot dogs, and plenty of chances for attendees to cheer for their team with family and friends, all while helping out others in need.

Poster printing and flyer printing for this event may have been prepared by local printing companies to be used for advertising purposes. Ticket prices can be obtained by visiting the Florence Freedom website. For more information, visit the City of Erlanger’s website or call Faith Woods at 727-2525 or 859-594-4487.
