Kentucky gives a toast to its bluegrass traditions

October 23, 2013 by

The Kentucky Gathering will take place at the Kentucky Horse Park at the end of the month, with expected attendance from many nearby cities and communities, including Crescent Springs. The festival will include equestrian sports such as the Alltech National Horse Show, Savor Kentucky showcase, and the Biggest Loser 5K ‘Runwalk’.

This will be the first year for the Kentucky Gathering, which will showcase the rich culture of the Bluegrass traditions in the state.

Vendors will be on hand to offer locally produced brews, various foods, and handmade crafts. Vendors traditionally work with local printing companies in securing materials needed for the events. Business card printing is a frequent request in order for the vendors to have cards to hand out for the purpose of brand awareness and possible future business. Banner printing is also a common order as the vendors place material in their booths to depict their business.

The Kentucky Gathering will take place from October 29 until November 3, and it will be held at the Alltech Arena. It is a family-friendly event and will include a play area for the kids, and an area for arts and crafts.

Convenient free parking is available at the venue with a free shuttle. The Colt Trolley will leave once every hour from the 5/3 Pavilion in the downtown area of Lexington on Friday and Saturday afternoons.
