During an event that will soon be held near East Brunswick, the public will be able to enjoy a colorful time while they lend a hand to those affected by domestic violence.

This year will mark the inaugural Middlesex County Coalition of Domestic Violence Response Teams (MCCDVRT) Color Me! 5k, and those who like to participate will be welcome run, walk or roll the route. The organizers noted that, as it has been planned as a fun event, those who take part will be able to go at their own pace, and timing is available.

To thank them for their support, every person who comes out for the activity will receive a race bib, T-shirt, and swag bag filled with Color Run accessories. Print shops can supple branded items that can be given out as “thank you” gifts during his type of function.

After they have completed their run or walk, those who participated will be invited to enjoy food, live music, and a variety of family friendly activities. There will be charters in costume as well as face painting, bounce houses, balloon animals, a clown, and lots of other fun.

This colorful event in support of the MCCDVRT has been set for May 5 at 563 Cliff Rd & Debra PL. in Sewaren Township. The day has been sponsored by the Woodbridge Township Domestic Violence Response Team, and it can be contacted through its website for further details.
