Eagleville tree lighting ceremony to light up the December night

November 27, 2016 by

Eagleville will be welcoming the holiday season in style, and all are invited to come and join in the celebration.

The community will be hosting its 8th annual tree lighting ceremony, and an evening of activities have been planned to help add to the festivities. Both Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to welcome visitors to Winter Wonderland, and those who attend will be able to join in the singing of carols and other holiday favorites. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served, and for the kids, Elsa and Anna costumed characters will be at the event. The evening has been planned so that there will be plenty for everyone to see and do.

The public is asked to keep the less fortunate in mind and bring along a donation of scarves, coats, gloves or mittens, and hats for Feel the Warmth, and a canned or other nonperishable food item for the local food bank. A printer can be called upon to produce flyers and other promotional items to help get the word out to the public about an event like this.

The tree lighting festivities will be held at the Lower Providence Township Complex in Eagleville on December 2, starting at 6:30 pm. There is no charge to participate and everyone is welcome to join in the fun and meet friends old anew.
