Eagleville area nursery school seeking donations

March 27, 2017 by

A local nursery school is asking for donations of gently used items for its Clothing and Shoe Drive fundraising efforts, and it is hoping that Eagleville residents will be generous in their contributions.

Audubon’s St. Andrew’s Nursery School will be accepting a wide range of items for both adults and children. Shoes, boots and other clothing, sheets, pillowcases, comforters, bedding, hats, and scarves are among the items that will be gratefully accepted. The drive will give people an opportunity to give new life to their unwanted items, and will also keep them out of area landfills.

Those who would like to make a contribution are asked to pack their donations into 13 to 30 gallon sized plastic garbage bags, which should be tied shut. They can be dropped off at the nursery school, and will be sorted by staff and volunteers. A printing company can be called upon to create materials that can help to get the word out to the community about a fundraising event such as this.

Anyone with items to contribute to the St. Andrew’s Nursery School fundraiser is asked to bring them to the school on April 1 between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. The facility is located at 2725 Egypt Road in Audubon. Additional details have been added to the Patch event listings for the area.
