Duluth Fall Festival Parade gears up for Autumn

July 27, 2017 by

The duluth Fall Festival will once again be welcoming the chilly days of autumn, and a parade has been planned as a part of the festivities.

The event, which has been planned as a way to bring the community together in a spirit of fun and camaraderie, will include participation from local schools as well as the fire department, local dignitaries, girl and boy scouts, antique cars and other vehicles, clowns, dance classes sponsors and much more. The public is invited to come out and join their neighbors as they cheer on their favorite entries.

The route for the parade will begin on Main Street close to Coleman Middle School, and will then wind its way southeast to Highway 120 before turning to the South and following Buford Highway. The end point of the procession will be at Hardy Industrial Boulevard. It will begin at 10:00 am, but as the surrounding streets will be closed at 9:45, the organizers advise those who wish to get a good spot arrive well ahead of time. Marketing services for a large event such as this can be supplied by an area printer.

The Duluth Fall Festival Parade will be held on September 30th, and additional information, including a sponsorship application for anyone who would like to lend the event a helping hand, can be found on the festival’s website.
