Opening celebration planned for Doylestown photo exhibit

January 24, 2017 by

The Bucks County Audubon Society (BCAS) will be hosting an exhibit that offers something for both bird lovers and photography buffs alike.

To celebrate the start of the National Audubon Society’s Photography Exhibit, the organization will be holding a special opening evening celebration. Guests can browse through the photographs that will be on display, many of which are award winners in the 2016 Audubon photo contest. In addition, they can take in a presentation from LeRoy Tabb, who will be sharing secrets of bird photography.
Tabb has traveled the globe in his pursuit of his hobby, and has been Bucks County Birders’ Vice President and Program Coordinator for the past five years. Tabb also sits on the BCAS board of directors and is a teacher naturalist.

To add to the festive air of the occasion, attendees will have an opportunity to sample offerings from Sand Castle Winery during the planned wine tasting session. Souvenir custom drinkware can be designed and crafted by a printer for a special event such as this.

This opening celebration for the exhibit will be held on January 27th from 6:30 pm until 8:00 in the Visitor Center at 2877 Creamery Road. Tickets are $15.00 for Bucks County Audubon Society members and $20.00 for non-members. They can be purchased by calling 215-297-5880 or through the organizer’s website.
