For a winter warm up and an opportunity to keep in shape over the season, Danbury runners will be participating in the Big ‘Chili’ 5K Race coming in mid-February. Participants will get bowls of chili and other refreshments at the end of the race.

The course will be USATF certified and will be the same route as in the past. Runners will leave the Danbury Sports Dome, turn right on Shelter Rock Lane, and go left on Great Pasture Road which becomes Wooster. At Durant Avenue, the course will turn right and then go left on School Street. Then it will loop around the block back to Wooster onto Great Pasture Road, turning right back on Shelter Rock Road before finally returning to the Dome.

Hardy spectators may wish to bring hot chocolate to keep warm, and banners to support their favorite runners.

Timing will be consucted by Greystone Racing and results may be found the same day on HI-TEK Racing and Greystone Racing websites.
