Danbury looks forward to spring with expo

The 58th Annual Home, Health & Leisure Show, like spring, is just around the corner. The two-day event will have expert advice, live demonstrations and activities for all ages.

Representatives from local businesses and organizations will be presenting demonstrations. Some topics to be covered will be healthy cooking, fitness training, Zumba, dance instruction and martial arts. There will also be a fashion show, as well as some organizations displaying and discussing food and diet trends or physical fitness while others will have screenings.

Experts on home improvement, renovation, gardening, landscaping, health, wellness and leisure activities will be on hand giving advice and information on their services and products.

Microsoft will sponsor the F.I.T Zone; other activities will include Yoga & Reiki, a golf simulator, many DIY projects, floral design and arts and crafts. Kids will want to look for the smoothie station.

Home-themed exhibitors will be displaying everything from pools and spas, windows and doors, wood stoves, insulation, solar panels, kitchen and bath items to heating and cooling, siding, patios and sunrooms and security systems.

Schools, camps, recreation and gym representative will be having displays and passing out flyers and business cards with information pertaining to their businesses.

The Home, Health & Leisure Show Is scheduled for March 24th with doors opening at 10 am at Danbury Fair Mall, 7 Backus Avenue, Danbury.
