Danbury City Center Green goes nostalgic in July

July 4, 2017 by

Danbury City Center Green will be the site of performances by four tribute bands during July in this year’s Summer Concert Series.

The first one will be New Jersey’s B Street Band, which will be paying tribute to Bruce Springsteen.

The next tribute band will be a week later. It will be Fast Lane and will be recreating the sounds of the Eagles. The group is one of the most popular tributes to the rock legends.

The Jersey Four will be belting out tunes made famous by the Four Seasons and Frankie Valli. Some of the songs they will be singing will be ‘Sherry’, ‘Rag Doll’, and ‘Walk Like a Man’.

Gratefully Yours will be the final band for this month, and will be playing some of the best-known Grateful Dead hits.

Fans of all these artists may want to bring their old promotional products, flyers and T-shirts from the original groups and enjoy displaying or wearing them.

All the bands will begin their performances at 7:00 pm on the Danbury City Center Green in downtown Danbury. The B Street Band will be on Friday, July 7; Fast Lane will be on July 14; Jersey Four will be the next Friday, July 21; and Gratefully Yours will be the final band for the month and will perform on July 28.
