Warehouse project likely to bring more jobs to Cranbury

November 30, 2015 by

A recent press release revealed that Cranbury will soon have another distribution warehouse due to the joint venture of two large firms that are combining their real estate and development capital to build a large warehouse facility.

Alfieri, LLC and The Rockefeller Group plan to build a warehouse distribution facility that will offer 930,000 square feet of space. There is no announced tenant, but the developers expect several inquiries as warehouse space in that area is limited and in high demand.

Many other distribution centers are located in this area, which make it a desirable location. The new tenants would find themselves in the company of several large corporations who currently have distribution warehouses in the area of New Jersey Turnpike, Exit 8A. Those companies include Home Depot, Costco, Crate & Barrel, and L’Oréal.

The ability to include higher ceiling heights was approved by the Cranbury Township committee earlier this year, allowing the developers to build a facility that is likely to catch the eye of tenants because of the potential for multiple mezzanine levels.

Locals looking for warehouse employment opportunities should heighten their interviewing skills and update their digital business cards and résumés and be ready to jump on this opportunity to be part of the new state-of-the-art warehouse facility.

Although there is no date set for completion, locals should keep their eyes out for banners or flyers announcing opportunities to apply at the new facility. Since the job boards are already full of warehouse opportunities, this new facility will likely be the source of numerous new career opportunities.
