The Freedom Fest State Fair is returning to the area this July for five days.

The fair offers plenty of events and activities that are sure to appeal to everyone in the family. There will be musical entertainment that will include tributes to Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles, The River Dogs, Human Wheels, and Southern Steel. There will also be motorcycle trick shows, horse shows, pig races, wine tasting and pie-eating contests.

There is also a midway with arcade games and carnival rides; unlimited rides are included with fair admission. On ‘Organic and Healthy Eating Saturday’, visitors can purchase local produce, take part in herb tasting, and watch gardening shows; there will also be lots of children’s activities, such as a petting zoo.

In addition, there are set to be agricultural events, honey-making demonstrations, a shark encounter, and commercial vendors.

Visitors from all over the area are sure to take a short trip to attend the fair, including those from nearby Cranbury. It will likely be advertised by posters and flyers obtained from a local print company.

The Freedom Fest State Fair will be held at the Horse Park of New Jersey in Allentown from July 8 to 12. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children between the ages of five and nine. Call 609-259-0170 for the latest information.
