County fair offers fun for the entire family

The 77th annual Middlesex County Fair is taking place next month for seven days. This popular event attracts approximately 80,000 visitors each year.

It will have many of the traditional events people have come to expect from a county fair. There will be 4-H competitions, racing pigs, and farm animals on display. A midway will have lots of carnival rides and games to play, along with live performances. Some of the musicians who will be performing at this year’s fair include Justin and Alina, Mark Miklas, and the Amish Outlaws.

Other activities include a camper show, the King and Queen contest, and fireworks displays.

Visitors from all over the county are expected to attend the fair at least once, including those in nearby Cranbury. To make sure as many people know about it as possible, local print companies may have provided posters or flyers.

The Middlesex County Fair is being held at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds in East Brunswick from August 3 to 9. Times are 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm on weeknights and from 11:00 am on weekends. Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $1 for children between the ages of 3 and 12. Amusement ride tickets are 75 cents each or 28 for $20, while unlimited passes are $25 for one day or $45 for all seven days. Visit the official website to learn more.
